About the Practice:
o We at Locum Health are currently collaborating with a wonderful practice located in High Wycombe, looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Health Care Assistant. Here are the details:
• Responsibilities:
o Assist with patient assessments and record vital signs
o Support GPs and nurses
o Perform phlebotomy, wound care, and other clinical tasks as required
o Conduct health checks and screenings
o Provide patient education and support
o Update and maintain accurate patient records
o Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Qualifications:
o Previous experience working as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) in a primary care setting, such as a GP surgery
o NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
o Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
o Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
