Duties:
Respond promptly to emergency calls, evaluating the situation and providing immediate medical care to patients on-site.
Administer appropriate treatments and medications according to established protocols.
Accurately document patient information, treatment provided, and other relevant details.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
Make critical decisions quickly and efficiently to stabilize patients before transportation to healthcare facilities.
Keep up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in pre-hospital emergency care.
Qualifications:
Valid registration as a Paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Certification as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider
Accredited qualification as a Paramedic Practitioner
Evidence of continuous professional development in the medical field
Proven experience as a Paramedic, preferably in an urban setting or similar demanding environment.
Exceptional knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with patients and their families.
Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Excellent physical fitness and the capability to handle strenuous and physically demanding situations.
Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
