Duties:
Conduct regular patient consultations to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of illnesses and conditions.
Prescribe medications and recommend treatments, including preventive measures and lifestyle advice.
Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Promote health education and preventive measures within the community.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
Provide urgent medical care for acute health issues.
Qualifications:
A recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
Full registration with the GMC and a license to practice in the UK.
Successful completion of the two-year Foundation Program (F1 and F2).
Completion of a GP specialty training program (CCT in General Practice).
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication, and patient management abilities.
Experience working in a general practice setting.
Up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Compassion, patience, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to continuous professional development.
